s. by the way - that plant is almost yours - maybe i should just plant it with the impatients as long as they don't strangle it!

I stumbled on your site while looking for a coffee plant for my husbands birthday gift. He had one as a kid and I know it would be a sentimental gif he would love. Do you have any suggestions? (I loved your web site.)

Don't jump off the back of any trucks or walls.
The base of any wall structure or brick walks is
the MOST important(don't cut corners)and use a level. Don't believe the height the plant is SUPPOSED to grow,...the next year..it may be TWICE the size :)

Hi Pat!
Like your site - will pop in from time to time. I'm looking for various types of poppy seeds - in particular one that has a bloom that reminds me of a mop, is reddish in color. Do you know what it is and where to get the seed?
HAPPY GARDENING!

Hi Pat! : )
You're coming along quite nicely! I have a hard time getting any Lavendar to grow for me. I buy it, and it should be ready to grow. But, it doesn't come up. They should give it the cold treatment on "the farm", right?
Also, I have another couple of seeds that need to be scarified to grow: all oaks and chestnuts. : ) That's why those rascally, little squirrels are so important! They naw on the nuts coverings and get them all scarified naturally. ; ) Have fun with yo
r site; I like it!!! ; )

Hi Pat, You have a guestbook now, I just had to sign. Best of luck on your web site. I like your new plant list you've added and look forward to reading your other gardening ideas. Thanks for the kind words on your intro page.
And I have a helpful gardening hint for you that I have found works really well. Save a dish detergent bottle and rinse it out well. Use it to put water in to use on your seedlings. The small steady stream works really nice for watering newly planted seed
. I was *gushing* my dirt all the time, trying to water the little containers. This *new* method works really well.
