  • Brook went to a 4 day AKC agility trial and competed in a non-regular class called International Class. Yes, there were Border Collies who were there, but they kept making mistakes (is that possible!!??) and so Brook just kept watching as they fell by the wayside one after another and she came up with the first prize ribbon and the $100 prize money. Needless to say, she had to buy a Labrador necklace and earrings for her efforts. Linda will have it with her at the LRC agility trials in Valpariso, IN in October, so stop by the agility rings if you'll be there. Linda put all three of her boys in the necklace...it should be really cute. Anyway, in short...we beat the BC's for the first place ribbons and the money in the International Class. Congratulations Linda Baker Nash and Brook!

She also did all 4 days in the open standard class, her first time showing in this class. She received qualifying scores of 100 and 2nd place, 100 and 3rd place, and 100 and first place and her title. Today was also her birthday and she turned *11* years old. Not a bad birthday present!
