10 year-old Can OTCH U-CDX Whipowil's
Francesca Am/Can UD, TT (Frankie) went high scoring Veteran at the LRCPV
with a score of 195.5 And, on May 26/27 6 month-old Wood Duck Country Rose
(Rosah) took best puppy in breed - congratulations!

CH Remedy's Scenic Cruiser CD, CGC (Candi)
was BOB all three days with a Group 3 on Saturday the weekend of May 26-28.
Sunday's points gave her the championship. She also finished her CD with
a nice 4th place win! CONGRATULATIONS Sherrie Petty!

May 26-28 Jake exploded with obtaining
his AXJ title with a first place on Saturday and his AX title with a third
place on Sunday. On Monday, first time in both Excellent B classes Jake
got his first Double Q with MACH points with a 2nd place in JWW and 4th
place in Standard. U-CD Triple Crown's Flying Ebony CDX AX AXJ NAC NJC
NGC WC is loved by Kathi Scherf - congratulations!

This little one turned 8 months old May
24, and finished her CD the next day!! She is Canaltownes Walking on Sunshine

In mid-May, our Dog of the Year, "Teddy,"
went BOB all three days, finishing his International championship! Teddy

Whitepowder Winnifred CDX JH CGC earned
her final leg of her CDX May 27 with a 2nd place. Winnie is owned and handled
by Anne Swindeman. Winnie's daughter, Gala, earned her 2nd CDX leg at the
same show!!! Congratulations Anne!

Wins completed her NAJ on May 26 with
a first place in 24" jumpers, 10 seconds below course time. Now it's back

Oakdale's Mountain Brook, CD, MX MXJ,
OAJ, OAC, NAG, AAD, JM just finished his Master Snooker's title in USDAA.
(That's 3 Super Q's and 2 Q's, so we beat some Border Collie's; you have
to be in the top 15% of the Q's to earn the Super Q's, so we are quite
proud that a Labrador Retriever was in the creme de la creme!!!) Congratulations

"Chance" (Cape Breton FrogCreek Chance)
passed his TDI test at MVLRC's specialty. Congratulations Chris Carroll!

On May 12, 9 year old "Speed" (Am/Can
OTCH U-UD Candlewoods High Speed Chase UDX, JH, AX, OAJ) had a fast, clean
run in the 24" Exc. A standard class and completed his AX with a first
place. Then on May 19/20, Speed was HIT/HC both days at a couple of obedience
trials - congratulations Terri Clingerman!

"Southwinds Jumpin Jigawatt," better
known as "G," ran his first two Junior HT's and came home with two orange
ribbons. This was particularly nice since "G" is a Driver son, but also
since he is an almost 4 year old male that got caught up in a divoirce.
Fortunately the owners honored Jean's right of first refusal contract and
she took him back last July and started his training a few months later.
He is a jewel and very handsome as well. They will show in the breed ring
in the fall. Congratulations Jean Grosshart!

Peggy Lands reports that her senior citizen,
Ch. Birchangreens Nightwind Sass CD, WC, CGC, TDI, earned Back to Back
Judge's Award of Merit at LRCPV, Best Veteran in Specialty Show, and Best
in Veteran Sweeps - congratulations Peggy!

On May 19, "Tally" placed 3rd in EX B
standard for her 4th MX leg and Q'd for her second MXJ leg- giving her
her 1st Double Q. The next day she earned another 1st place in Open A for
a bumper CDX leg. She also was highest scoring lab without an OTCH. Congratulations
Lynn Stahl!

on May 19 and is now Am/Can/Int Ch Mytym Jacobs Field UD, JH, OA, OAJ,
CGC, WC, TT. Congratulations Carolyn Johnson!

HPL's 1999 Dog of the Year, Toadd (Am/Can/Mex/Intl
Ch SR Ms T's BoMar Been There Done That JH CGC TT WC), took the 1st Judge's
AOM and also took HIT, earning his first CD leg, at the LRC-Albuquerque
specialty. The previous week, he also took BOB and his daughter, Desi,
earned her CGC - congratulations Terry McFadden!

Kira (U-CD SR Justes B Spellbound CD
JH NA NAJ) got 2 CDX legs out of the Open A class with a 3rd place and
a 2nd place May 12/13 - congratulations Sheri Anderson!

Brisk earned her JH May 13, four passes
in four tests. She is now Winterset's Chilly Weather JH CGC. Carol thanks

On May 6, Tally earned her first MXJ
leg and her 3rd MX leg with a second place. A week later she switched gears
and earned her second leg of her CDX with a 1st place and finished her
CDX title May 13 with another 1st place! She's now SR Lakebound Ups The
Tally CDX, JH, AX, AXJ, NAC, NGC, WC, CGC - congratulations Lynn Stahl!

Emma earned her 3rd leg May 12 to finish
her CD title. Emma finished her title in only 3 shows, with the highlight
being First Place in Novice B and High Scoring Chocolate at the LRC of
the Piedmont. She is now White Bear's Emma Lou Fudge, CD,CGC! And she finished
her title on her 4th birthday! Emma, Max and Robbi celebrated the occasion
with some homemade birthday cake - congratulations Marion Buraczynski!

Piper earned her MAD title (Master Agility
Dog) and her JM title (Jumpers Master) May 5/6 at their last USDAA trial
of the season! Lori is thrilled that she completed that MAD title this
season and will be working on the ADCH when the season starts again next
October! Congratulations Lori Lewis!

"Sara" competed in seven Open A shows
this spring and qualified in all seven with placements in six of the shows.
Sara also is a registered Therapy Dog and works with the Hood County Library
in a reading program for the benefit of elementary children who are having
difficulty reading. Owner Suzy McGonigle says she cannot brag on her wonderful
dog without bragging on some very key folks in their lives: First, Sara's
breeder, Diane McClurg; her support for Suzy and Sara has been faithful,
enthusiastic and ongoing. And Denise Tatro, their obedience instructor
extraordinaire. Sara and Suzy could not have attained these achievements
without these two very special people. Congratulations Suzy McGonigle!

"Otter" (Chillybleak's Going For Broke
WC) completed his AKC Junior Hunter on May 5 and 6. He is owned by Gina
and Tom Gross and was handled by Tom. Gina says, "It was a real thrill!"

King Odin JH, CD, WCX) and "Frigga" (HR Morgan's Girl Friday JH, WCX) got
