Directions to Milverton, Skerries

Follow directions towards the AIRPORT. When you pass the Tunnels on your right you will be close to the M50. Keep heading towards the airport. After you pass the exit to the M50 be prepared for merging traffic from the M50. Stay in the left lane where you will see an overhead sign for SKERRIES.

Be careful here as traffic may be lane crossing for the airport. Once past the airport exit follow signs for Skerries.

There is now an easier way to get to Skerries from the Airport. The M1 motorway which is now open will bypass Swords completely and avoid heavy traffic.

To get on this Motorway, you go through the main exit roundabout and stay in the left lane heading towards the CITY Centre. Approximately 500meters ( 600 yards ), there are traffic lights where you will turn left at the lights heading towards Belfast ( North bound traffic ). Take this exit and continue at recommended speed for 5 mins (roughly) and after crossing 2 bridges you take the exit for route R132 (Donabate, Skerries, and Rush and Ardgillan Castle).

At this exit turn right and head throught the next rounnabout towards Skerries, continue on the dual carriageway until you see an "Esso" garage on the Left hand side. There is a junction to the right just ahead. Be caerful here. There is a sign for Skerries , Lusk and Rush. Turn Right here on to the R127 (Heading for Lusk, Rush, Skerries).

As you approach Lusk , there is now a new link road roundabout. You may turn right and go through the roundabouts turning right at the last one. This is the quicker route. Alternately, you can go into Lusk where Leonards Renault Garage will be on your left. Continue on till you come to Murrays Pub which will be on your right. Here you will veer to the left. Follow signs for Skerries.

Keep to the left towards Skerries. Continue on and go straight through next roundabout. After 2 miles you will see a sign on your left hand side for Skerries Mills, this sign recommends buses and coaches to take the next right turn. You do not take this turn. You will be taking the next right turn.

The road will then narrow but the surface is good with trees on either side.

You take the right turn at the next signed posted crossroads. (There is a signpost for Lolaido House B & B at this turn.) There is also a sign for the "Daffodil Art Gallery" on the left hand side. Your right turn will be sharp and continue up the hill to the 4th House.
