Stephenson Family Genealogy


Introduction

This web page is the chronicle of my family the Stephensons, its ancestors and descendants. On this page you will find links to useful sites about genealogy as well as any links to the findings of my research. My genealogy page first appeared sometime in 1998, and turned into something that took all of my time and offered little to afford to genealogy. I took the website down and focused my resources on the genealogy research. Queries over the years from family, specifically the next generation of descendants from my parents has led me to think I need something available for them to reference on line, but not as comprehensive and time consuming as was available before.

To keep it short and simple, I have provided the following outline for this page:
Links are provided to two areas. The first being general genealogy and to other areas of interest that one might find useful to start their own research. Second, are links to pages of ancestors and descendants of the Stephensons by other researchers whom I have found information from over my years of working on genalogy.

I have adopted an GEDCOM to HTML file for the posting of my family tree for others to reference. That is about it.

As anybody whom has worked on genealogy knows, the works of a families history are never the workings of an individual, but of many within the family and outside of it. I take no credit for the works in these pages, other than putting the information on this page to present to my family members. I must say with a humble tone, that I am grateful to all of those whom have helped me over the years with this information. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
