Introducing...

The before pictures...

Jarrett right after his hand surgery. I am 34 weeks pregnant. Only 7 weeks left.

With no end in sight, we took this picture just in case it happened in the middle of the night. We still had to wait a few more days.

The big day...

One minute your warm and coozie. The next minute people are doing all sorts of odd things to you.

Finally we get a moment together and he falls right asleep.

Later that day..

After months of listening to Jeremy's voice, Jaxon felt warm and secure.

He can get a look at them later. It is nap time now.

In the NICU...

The night before he was due to come home, he developed a fever, started breathing fast and was generally cranky.

IV needles were changed at least once a day because his veins were so small. Some times it would take an hour to get a new one started. All of that poking wore him out and he didn't even wake up for a visit from Dad.

But, he was a sleeping angel.

Home, happy, healthy and hungry...

He started rolling over at three weeks old. It was hard to catch him on his belly for a picture. He is 5 days shy of 3 months old in this picture.

The photographer was great. I had taken him in to have his pictures taken in this cute little outfit. But then I thought that he has such cute rolls that it would be a shame to cover them up. So, we took everything off except his diaper. He is such a happy baby that we didn't have any problems getting some great shots of him.
