Hi, I'm Lisa, a Miniature Schnauzer and this is my website. My masters tell me I'm Queen of the Dogs in the house. I think I'm a Great Queen. I'm a purebred Miniature Schnauzer. My masters got me when I was 6 weeks old. The reason why they chose me is because I laid on my back and they just started to pet me and so that is how it happened. I have a salt-and-pepper coat and I'm 23 pounds, but that's a sturdy 23, and I'm 14 inches tall. I was born on April 28, 1997. The food I eat is Nutro's Natural Choice Lamb and Rice. For my treats I get Nutro's Natural Choice Chops or Max Bones or Chewy T-Bones. All of those are mmm, mmm good. Stay, look around for awhile, sign the guest book or look at the guest book. I like e-mail so if you have time scroll down to the bottom of this page and e-mail me.

About Schnauzers

There are three types of Schnauzers Giant, Standard, and Miniature. Miniatures stand at 12 to 14 inches and should be 9 to 16 pounds. They originated in Germany as rat catchers. Even though most Terriers came from Great Britain, the Schnauzer did not. Schnauzers are playful and have lots of energy. The Miniature Schnauzers are small but not delicate. They are very sturdy and can handle some rough-housing. It likes to be the center of attention and has to know what is going on. They have two types of color they could be: salt-and-pepper or black. There coat is a double coat; a hard, wiry outer layer and a soft under layer. The Schnauzer has a non-shedding coat and no trace of doggy odor. They also are one of the most hypo-allergenic dogs. Miniature Schnauzers were the eighth most popular dog in the U.S. All in all Miniature Schnauzers are great dogs.

Here are two books that are quite good and have stuff on Schnauzers.
