I asked God for strength, that i might achieve;.....

I was given weakness, that i might learn to obey......

I asked God for health, that i might do great things;.....

My body was given infirmity, that i might do better things......

I asked God for riches, that i might be happy;......

I was given persecution, that i might be wise......

I asked God for power, that i might have praises of men;......

My spirit was made weak, that i might feel the need of God.......

I asked God for all things, that i might enjoy life;......

I was given life, that i might enjoy all things......

I got nothing I asked for, but everything i had hoped for;.....

almost despite myself, my unspoken prayers were answered......

I am, among all men, most richly blessed ! ........

Matthew 5 verse 3

"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of God"

Tell me friend, what will it matter

a hundred years from now.....

If you owned ten thousand acres

Or just a broken plow;.........

Will it matter If you bought your suits in Paris

and your clothes in Italy.....

Or your clothes were made in patches....

As the bed quilts used to be;...........

Will it matter.....

Whether you lived in a mansion....

with the finest tiles inlaid,

with a private chauffeur, butler, and maid?...........

OR If you lived in a small cottage....

with your health gone on the skids,

out of work and with no money,

just your wife and two small kids..............

There is more to life than living,

More for those who will believe...........

The bible says our riches are laid up in heaven,

If the savior we will receive...........

What will it matter???......

Whether we are lost forever

Or to Jesus we bend our Knee...........

This is what will make the difference

A hundred years from now, for you & for me !
