 Some Principles to Help You Each Day
To Remain Pure in Heart.
1. Obey God and leave the consequences of obedience to Him.
Obey me, and I will be your God and you will be my people. Walk in all the ways I command you, that it may go well with you. Jeremiah 7:23
2. Learn to trust the Lord for every single thing in life that we need.
And my God will meet all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19
3. Wait upon God for His direction and His timing.
In the morning, O LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation. Psalms 5:3
Since ancient times no one has heard, no ear has perceived, no eye has seen any God besides you, who acts on behalf of those who wait for Him. Isaiah 64:4
4. Christ must live the Christian life through you. You can not do it on your own.
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. Galatians 2:20
5. God loves you unconditionally. He does not love us because of who we are, but because of who He is.
How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! 1 John 3:1
This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. 1 John 3:16
6. God is in control.
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. Romans 8:28-29
7. Depend upon the Holy Spirit to help you.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. Galatians 5:22-25
8. Spend time alone with God, reading His Word and praying.
How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to Your word. Psalms 119:9
