I am so glad that
on February 4, 1955, my mom and dad were married. You see I happen to think
that I have two of the most special parents in the world. Their love is
unwavering, and they dealt with us kids firmly, yet fairly and honestly.
I often look at my own son and feel if I could just be half the parent
to him that my mom and dad are to me, I will have done myself proud!! I
love my mom and dad very much and I would not trade them for anything in
the world.
My parents have settled
here in Winnipeg, Manitoba and father is the pastor of Wide World of Faith.
I am so happy to live back close to them and to have them be a closer part
of my life and it is a bonus for our son to have his grandparents close
by.

This is one of the
most current pictures I could get my hands on.
I think they still
look like two teenagers in love!!!
When all is said and
done, I could never find enough words to express how I feel about mom and
dad. They are the most wonderful and understanding parents a girl like
me could have.
I love you very much
mommy and daddy and always will. I may not be perfect and may stumble sometimes;
but just put up with me and know that I am a work in progress and maybe
some bright day there will be a "finished" sign on my forehead!!
