American Football has had a presence in Ireland for over twenty years, unfortunately there has not been a big following. Even with this lack of support the country has been able to have a league every year and to crown an Irish champion at each Shamrock Bowl. Dublin has been able to form many dominant teams over the years but can always expect some good competition from the more rural areas.
