The Maintenance Department is responsible for the maintenance and modifications of all buildings and services at Ogden Shops. They repair mobile equipment such as forklifts, trackmobiles,and other vehicles. They also provide engineering expertise and technical assistance to the production departments and assist with the identification and purchase of new machinery and tooling. They have developed and implemented an extensive PM (Planned Maintenance) program for much of the machinery and tooling located at Ogden Shops. This PM program is designed to prevent breakdowns of critical machinery and also to ensure it is kept in safe operating condition. The Power House operations fall under the responsibility of the Maintenance Department.
