Ballew Family 1893

This photo was of the Nancy Jane Blain Ballew and Robert Pleasant Ballew family in about 1893 (give or take a little). Back row (left to right): Mary Judson (b. 1868), Joseph William (b. 1869, called Bud), George Thomas (b. 1871), Martha Anne (b. 1873, called Patty), Sarah Catherine (b. 1874), and Cora M. (b. 1879). Front row (left to right): Robert E. (b. 1884, called Edd), Ida E. (b. 1882), Robert Pleasant (b. 1838), Maggie (b. 1886), Nancy Jane (b. 1847), Ella Pleasant (b. 1877).

The parents in the above photo, Robert Pleasant Ballew and Nancy Jane Blain Ballew were Rene's great great great grandparents. The young man second from left, Joseph William Ballew (called Bud), was Rene's great great grandfather.
