Just doing some surfing for the first time on the name of "Hickcox" in Connecticut. I too am descended from William Hickocks (Hickox) who arrived in Farmington CT around 1640. My line of the family comes through Samuel, brother of Joseph whom you mention n your brief inclusion of Hickcox's. Our line of the Hickcox family has stayed right in Connecticut within a 50 mile radius of Hartford, Farmington and Waterbury. We are now working on our 14th generation. A great site! My Richard Hill Seymour was born ca1755 . First records I have of him was, he was Chatham County, North Carolina, he was captured by the British in 1781. The next record pertaining to Richard was in 1793, he is living in Green County, Georgia. He died in 1847 in Putnam Coundy, Georgia. Any information before 1793 about Richard Hill Seymour would be appreciated.

Grace May Walling was my G.Grandmother she was born in Michigan in 1882 according to the 1910 Luce County census.
