Warren Hillard Barnett, son of Josephine Hightower and John Landy Barnett, was b. 11 September 1832 in Russell Co., Alabama and died 12 March 1920 and is buried in Blue Springs Cem. in Nacogdoches Co., Tx.  He married Elizabeth H. Beaman on 26 January 1860 in Nacogdcohes Co., Tx.  Elizabeth, daughter of Sarah Hightower and Miles Beaman, was b. 12 August 1844 in Tx.Warren can be found in the 1860, 1870 and 1880 Census of Nacogdoches Co., Tx. and in the 1867 Voters Registration of Nacogdoches Co.  He served in the Confederate States Army in Waterhouse's Company, Lane's Regiment and recieved Pension # 12551 and Confederate Mortuary Warrant #2939.In the 1870 Census of Nacogdoches Co., Tx. they are found listed as follows:District IV Chireno 185-192

John Calhoun Barnett, a Presbyterian Minister and possibly the brother of John Landy Barnett, was b. 15 March 1812 in Tennessee and die 4 April 1859 and is buried in the Upper Chireno Cem. in Chireno, Nacogdoches Co., Tx.

He married Mary English Morrow on 24 February 1832 probably in Tennessee.

Mary was b. ca. 1812 in Kentucky and died after 1870 and is probably buried, unmarked, in the Upper Chireno Cem. in Chireno, Tx.

Robert Donald Barnett, son of Mary English Morrow and John Calhoun Barnett, was b. 24 January 1841 in Miss and died 4 February 1904 and is buried in the Douglas Cem. in Nacogdoches Co., Tx. 

He married Mary A. Robinson on 14 September 1871 in Nacogdoches Co., Tx.He served in Co. A., 11th Regiment Tx. Infantry, enlisting on 23 April 1863 and was discharged because of "disability" on 22 August 1863.
