HOW TO GET HERE

If driving, Marine Atlantic provides year-round vehicle and passenger ferry service between North Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada and Channel, Port-aux-Basques, Newfoundland. Advanced reservations are recommended.

There is approximately an 9-10 hour drive from the ferry terminal in Channel, Port-aux-Basques to St. John's - the capital City. During the summer months, a second ferry service is also provided between North Sydney, Nova Scotia and Argentia, Newfoundland. From here there is just a 2 hour drive to St. John's. (See the maps below).

 

 

 





If arriving by air there are many airlines that arrive at Stephenville, Deer Lake, Gander or St. John's daily - just check with your local travel agent.
