Lewis Ebenezer Shutts (1847-1929)

While a member of the "Famous Crocker's Brigade" and following Sherman's Atlanta Campaign, he received several gun shot wounds 25 August 1864, spent time in Crittenden Hospital, Louisville, KY and was awarded an Honorable Discharge 4 July 1865.  Lewis is the GGGrandfather of my husband.
