Buttrams, Burttrams (and other spellings...)

I've mentioned some cemetery photos in corresponding with other Buttram/Burttram researchers. Since some of you may have had trouble retrieving the photos I tried to attach to emails, I've decided to post them here, a few at a time. To view an enlarged copy of the photo, click on the photo.

First, we have (John) Elijah Buttram's grave site and tombstone. He is buried at Red Oak Cemetery, near Springville, Alabama in St. Clair County. It's right on Hwy. 11 which used to be a main thoroughfare until the introduction of I-59.  Very pretty little church and cemetery (on the left side of the road as you head north on Hwy. 11).
