- Atlantic High by William F. Buckley Jr., Another wonderful sailing adventure, full of Mr. Buckley's gentle humour, gives a wonderful atmosphere when read.
- The Four Loves by C.S. Lewis, Do you know what love is? You will after reading this.
- The Origins of Virtue by Matt Ridley, A clear an vivid explaination of how human virtue has come about.
