Hello there, Just found your website and pictures of Tucker. I had a good chuckle when I read the comment about his size as I could have sworn I was looking at a picutre of my own bichon, Oliver. He also weighs in at a whopping 24 lbs although that doesn't seem to s ow him down any as he's racing around the dining table. Have you had any health problems with Tucker? Ollie has had a knee displacement (platella) which was unrelated to his weight. Thanks for the photos.

I was unaware that Havanese are (or can be)_ black, since they are related to the Bichon breed. None of our four Bichons are less than 18 pounds. All are rescues. My daughter has a 45 lb. AKC registered Bichon (Timmy) who (that) she got at a pet store. We have done rescue for Bichons for a couple of years now and have seen very few, perhaps 2, 12- 4 lb Bichons. Thanks for promoting our breed on the web.
