| Featured News: New Support Group Is Launched On June 14, 2001, the StartedSingle E-mail community was born. This new group is a branch off of the SingleMothering e-mail list. StartedSingle seeks to provide support to women who started out as single mothers and have since become engaged or married. The goal of the StartedSingle community is to provide a safe haven for all members to share personal experiences, problems, and questions. |

| Featured News: Expected Additions The StartedSingle family is expecting two new additions in the coming months! Members Adamina and Jessica are both getting ready to welcome the second child into their familes. Adamina and her partner Mick are expecting their little bundle of joy around July 24th. The baby's gender is not known, but Ada has her suspicions that it may just be a girl! They are planning an unassisted homebirth where they will warmly welcome their new baby in the unintrusive, comforting environment of their own home. Their son Vincent and close friend and daughter will be present to share in the experience. We wish Ada and her family all the best during their venture and can't wait to hear the news about their precious baby. Jessica and her husband Denis are expecting their little one on Dec. 9th. Jessica wants a natural birth, using as little intervention as possible. They have a webpage which discusses their birth plans. Jess and Denis are still unsure about baby names and are waiting to hear what the gender is before making a decision. We all wish them a safe and wonderful delivery of their beloved little one.
