Their place of residence was Russell Creek in Cabell County, WV.
I know little about this family in Cabell County, however, after 1910 they moved to Oregon.
They seemed to have followed their son James Thomas. Family tradition states his son, Matthew, was against this move to Oregon and stayed in Cabell County and later moved to Ohio.
I know of five children, one died as an infant, three went to Oregon and one stayed behind.
They lived their lives in Eagle Creek, Oregon and are buried in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Lane County, Oregon.
Alvin was the younger brother to my GG Grandfather Wayne Knight.
