I was born in Baltimore, MD, the son of Richard and Alta (Fredrickson) Fowler, Sr.
I am the 5th Great Grandson of John "Old John" Friend, James McMullen,
Robinson T. Savage, and John Enlow, pioneer settlers of Garrett County,
through my maternal Grandmother, Harriet
Louise (Enlow) Fredrickson.
I am a Vietnam veteran, and a Life member of the VFW.
I am a Registered Nurse by profession, and perform visiting home nursing services in the Greater Baltimore area. I received my A.A. degree from a local Community College, my B.S.N. degree from the State University, and an M.B.A. degree from a local University.
I have been fairly active in the ongoing annual “Enlow Family Reunions” held in Garrett County, MD on the Sunday in June following Father's Day. I am a member of the Maryland, Allegany and Garrett County Historical Societies, and spend many hours working on the updating of the Enlow family history from the original publication of my 1st Cousin 3 times removed, E. E. Enlow, benefactor of the Ruth Enlow libraries of Garrett County, MD.
I have, three daughters, Laura, Karen, and Jennifer Fowler,
and one granddaughter, Haley Myers.
