Top is considered an adult sport in Kelantan as in requires strength and skills. The average weight of a top is 5.5 kilograms. It is made from hardwoods.

Normally the top spinning contest are usually held after the harvest seasons.

There are two types of matches :

1. Spinning Contest
   The top with the longest spinning time.

2. Striking Contest
   The player tries to strike their opponents tops so that the already spinning tops topple and stop spinning.

Kites

Kelantan is famous for its kites which is also known as "Wau".Kites are flown after the harvesting season.

The kites measuring as high as 6 feet, are usually fly by men. It takes two person to fly a kite. One lifts the kite and the other helps the lift.
