The Gateway Quartet has been singing for 18 years
now. Despite many trials, (as many groups have),
they have never given up. They have always put
their trust in the Lord and he has never let them down!!

Just a few months after forming the group, a terrible
tragedy fell upon them...

Ronald Gene Fuller was the very first lead singer
in the Gateway Quartet. They had just finished their
performance on stage, and the Lord had really blessed.
Ronald sat down to enjoy the rest of the singing,
and the Lord called him home.

At one point, they felt like giving up, but after
some serious praying, they decided the only way was
to trust in the Lord and go on. Since then, their
strong faith has brought them through many storms.
If asked to give any advice to other younger or older
groups, it would be, "Never to give up, and ALWAYS
trust in the Lord."

Ernest Mullins is the lead singer for the
Gateway Quartet. Ernest has been with the
group for around 8 years. Ernest loves singing
and working for the Lord, and is also a Minister.

Jeff Keathley is the tenor singer and lead
guitar player for the Gateway Quartet. Jeff
has been with the quartet for around 5 years
and truly loves what he does in working for
the Lord.

James (Buddy) Blackburn or Buddy, as everyone
knows him, is the bass singer for the Gateway
Quartet. Buddy is one of the founders of the group
and has enjoyed singing bass for the group for around
18 years now.

Donnie is the baritone singer as well as the
piano player for the Gateway Quartet. Donnie
is also one of the founders of the group and
enjoyed this for the last 18 years.
Oh, yea, for BOOKINGS, call Donnie !!!
