BunkoLoser Lisa Linville was finally de-throned at our last Bunko game. She fought hard to retain her title, but eventually lost it to Pam Green. Our overall winner was Susie Dowling, who needs the money to offset the cost of her new home. WHEN'S the Housewarming Party? No one was a loser at Lisa’s...she provided tons of food, entertainment, and a special gift for all who attended… THANKS LISA Our next game will be hosted by Cathy Padilla on April 17th. Game time is 6:30 p.m. and will be held at 2107 E. 27th Place Jokes from Judy…"Give
me a sentence about a public servant," said a teacher. The small
boy wrote: "The fireman came down the ladder pregnant." The
teacher took the lad aside to correct him. "Don't you know what
pregnant means?" she asked. "Sure," said the young boy
confidently. "Means carrying a child." *** A nursery school teacher was delivering a station wagon full of kids home one day when a fire truck zoomed past. Sitting in the front seat of the fire truck was a Dalmatian dog. The children started discussing the dog's duties. "They use him to keep crowds back," said one youngster. "No," said another, "he's just for good luck." A third child brought the argument to a close. "They use the dogs," she said firmly, "to find the fire hydrant." Fund RaisingFUNDS are DWINDLING rapidly and we need your help to replenish them. At the April meeting, we will be selecting a fundraiser for the month of May.
