In Memory of Peter Estcourt and all those who have died in the course of duty.
To all those who have been maimed,injured or burnt either fighting fires as a Member of the Rural Fire Services or due to being in the path of the fire our thoughts are with you.
Our heart felt condolences to the Family,Friends and Brigade Mates of these people.
14.1.77 - 7.12.1997
Peter Estcourt joined the Bundeena Brigade of the N.S.W Rural Fire Services and was there until he transferred to Grays Point,when the Family moved into the Sutherland Shire.Peter had been to fires in the Grafton,Taree and Sutherland areas during the 1994 crisis.
He was also involved in the 1997 fires at Menai and it was here while clearing trees and clearing up after the fires which destroyed homes and property that Peter collapsed.
Sadly all efforts to revive Peter went unheeded and he later died in the St.George Hospital.
Peter died where he was most happiest..."With His Mates".
His Spirit and Love for the Brigade is not lost and will continue on through his Father,Brothers and Sister who are involved with the Rural Fire Services.

Paula O'Neill
Paula O'Neill died in the 1994 bsuhfires while tryng to save the lives of her two step daughters.A fireball hit their Como street at 3pm Saturday the 8th January,1994 giving only seconds for people to escape the flames.
