This
is Welcome in Sign Language. This year we are learning to
say Hello, Welcome, Goodbye and Thank you in different languages.

Girls
Here are

photos of the girls. This was taken at our first meeting
that a few of them weren't able to attend.

1. We went Carolling and
Canning again.
Last year we raised over 300 canned
food items for the local food pantry. This year
we raised over 400.
2. We started with the
idea of adopting
some "grandparents" but noone could decide so we
adopted the entire nursing home and will go monthly.
October - we helped residents with games for Fall Festival
November - we put on a Thanksgiving Play
"We had a request to
sing every month. We are going to chose songs by Topic"
December - Christmas Carols
January - Top 40 Hits
February - Love Songs
March - Country Songs
April - Oldies (50's)
May - Pop Songs
3. We participated in
helping plan and carry out a
Brownie Girl Scout Lock In. We supervised 75 Brownies in playing
games
for 4 hours. The following morning we helped with a Cookie Rally.
There were 175 girls in attendance. This was part of our
Leadership Pin.
4. We are Amazing Kids
Ambassadors! We tell kids that every kid
has special gifts inside of them and the potential to do amazing
things
in their lives. We want other children to know that while
we have been chosen to be Amazing Kid's Ambassadors, we are no
different than the rest and they can be an amazing kid too! The
whole idea is to get kids thinking in a positive way and to have
fun while spreading the word.
