this is the first time i've got to sign your book. i'll never forget the day Austin was born and the pleasure he brought to us as a family. i'll never forget the horrific deceision that had to be made that day. i questioned God,Why? and even now it is hard for me to write what i'm feeling. i sit here with tears in my eyes trying to tell you how much i loved Austin and miss him. they say time heals all but you never really get over the hurt of loosing a baby.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I cannot even say I understand or that I can understand, because I do not. Your little boy was only here for a short time, but in those few days he taught you so much. He showed you what true love is and how pure and unde ieving it is. When you first hold your child in your arms, you know. You know god's secret and his will. You know that nothing in this world, life or death, could take your baby away. He was here for a reason and he accomplished that. He showed you the se rets of life and love, and made you the strongest. he knows that he has his mommy and daddy here on earth, and he is there watching. I do believe in angels. When my father passed away from suicide, his work made a plaque for him. My sister had a dream th t he walked into our room with his plaque and smiled at us. He held us and then walked away smiling. I now have an eleven month old son, and he is my world. I am only eighteen years old and before I had my son I was a rebel. Now that I have him I see how oving he has made me, and how I became pregnant for a reason. He has taught me so much more about lifes lessons than school ever did. I am sure you know what I mean. There is nothing like being a parent. just because your son is not here, that does not me n you are not a mother. You were and always will be. After having my son, I finished school and have decided that I am going to be an OBGYN and special in surgeries on infants. I want to save babies lives. I have read so many stories about doctors who hav been negilent and from their mistake the babies have died. I will save many lives and someday, I have been researching sids a lot, I hope to come up with the reason and the cure. Well, I just wanted to say that you have a beautiful memorial to your son a d he will never be forgotten. Just remember, when your walking down the street at night or driving in your car and you get that inner voice that says don't do this, that is him. Taking care of his mommy.

Your site is beautiful. I cried while viewing it. My son died in March of 97 at almost 12 hours old. I know the pain you feel. It breaks my heart that there are soooo many of us!
