Mom, I don't even know where to begin. So I guess I'll start at the beginning. I was told, that when you got pregnant for me so late in your life, the doctors were concerned, and told you that you should have an abortion because your life and the life of your aby was at stake. You told them "NO, the good Lord gave me this miracle, and I will trust in the good Lord to see you and the baby through it!" Well Mom, I have to say THANK YOU, for bringing me into this world.

Mom, you and I were so close when I was young, and then my teenage years came upon us. I did so much that hurt you it's pathetic. I know you have told me you don't even remember, but have you really forgotten? I know I haven't. I thank God, I was able to alk to you before you left this earth, and that we were able to clear things up.

Mom, I will always keep you cloose to my heart, and I will make sure your memory will go on, in my children and in their children. You will NEVER be forgotten. Everytime I look up on my mantle, and see your statue of the Virgin Mary, I will think of you a d know that you are looking down upon me. I will cherish this statue, and she will always have a place of honor in any house I live in. Your picture will always be near her.

The hardest thing I've ever had to do was watch my grandmother slowly die of a terrible disea e. But I can tell you that to the end she still was worried more about those around her than herself. Memere and I had many conversations about God this past year, and I am confident that her faith was strong and she is with Him. I asked her to watch o er us and she said she would if she was able, but to tell everyone that she "doesn't do ghosts!" That's my grandmother! I could write pages and pages about her...I'll just tell you that she was loved by groves of people. I will miss her, but I know that I will see her again, and I encourage anyone who doesn't know Jesus to meet him, so that you can see her again too. I love you Memere!!!!!

I found myself in the same situation almost 2 years ago. Please know I am only a message or eMail away if you need to talk. The one last thing I could give my mom was the Peace of Mind of knowing, My son would be fine and so would I....My Sis er and I both did this.... Not 2 hours after my Brother let her know everythign would be alright......she was at peace. I did this and was actually at peace with myself for having done so.
