M Classic Ideal Image was the son of the beautiful Marvelous Ideal. I had wanted to breed to Ideal for many years, but waited too long. Ellie Mason had acquired Classic a few years ago and offered to bring him down to Texas so my friend Molly Hilburn and I could breed our mares to him. Classic had that beautiful Ideal eye and personality. He was a very easy going stallion and a pleasure to be around.
Classic had been injured as a three year old and had foundered. He was used to pasture breed mares until Ellie acquired him and started him on hand breeding. He was a very quick learner and very much the gentleman with the mares.
Unfortunately, Classic's founder became worse as time went on after arriving in Texas. He was humanely euthanized in November of 2002. We still miss him very much. He has three sons and a daughter here in Texas we are very proud of.
