My son will help design this page.  We will dedicate this one to activities to keep the children busy.
WORD FIND
Car Games
Watch the signs.  Start with the letter A and work your way to Z.  Write the letters on a piece of paper and write each word down as you see it on a sign.  After you find a word that begins with A then move on to B and so on until you get to Z.  See who can finish the alphabet first.
A Gift For Dad

Cut out a piece of cardboard 5" x 7".  Cut out center desired size for photo to show.  Cover sides with ribbon, fabric strips, wrapping paper, or contact paper.  Put photo in place, then cover back with a piece of poster board.  Make a stand with the center piece of cardboard that you cut out.  Remember get an adult to help you with the cutting.

Summer Activity
Treasure Hunt
Have a friend or parent hide a treasure box with a "prize" somewhere in your yard.  (Or you can do this at a party in the park)
They can then draw a "Treasure Map" and place clues around the yard or park.  The first person who finds the "Treasure Box" wins the prize.
It is a great idea if you fill the box with lots of small prizes so all can share the loot.
As an added twist you can have eye patches and pirate costumes.

My Story
I Caught An Alien In A Box
I caught an alien in a box.
I lured it there with some socks.
There was some glue there too.
When I asked it what it wanted, it said a fox.
"How 'bout some socks?"  I said.
So we went to the docks and caught some socks and then we looked for a fox.
While we sat on some rocks, he ate the socks.
While I talkedd with the fox named Knox.
