DUKE NUKEM 3D CHEATCODES

The cheat codes are for V1.3D registered, V1.4, and V1.5. If you have shareware, just buy the game. These codes have not been tested for the Macintosh version.

To use cheat codes, press the pause key to pause the game (pausing is not necessary, but it works best). Type in the cheat code to activate the function for the associated code function.

The Cheat Codes/Tips and Tricks

Living Dead Duke
Take a plasma cannon, and charge it up completely. Fire it at your teammate (you must be on Cooperative). While the screen is WHITE (not RED, or it's too late) press pause, and turn on invincibility, and Duke should be completely black. Now, if you want to be either a floating dead body or a "dying Duke" (yuck: he's vomiting blood and bouncing up and down), turn on the invicibility while the screen is RED.

Switch Monsters Off
Go to the cheat menu (to get the cheat menu it self do this code on the main menu: LEFT, LEFT, L, L, RIGHT, RIGHT, LEFT, LEFT. Now you can get in the cheat menu.) Then hit these buttons in this order: L, LEFT C, LEFT, R, RIGHT C, RIGHT, LEFT, LEFT, RIGHT. You will here a siren if you did the code correctly. Then go in the cheat menu and now you can turn the monsters on and off.

Size Glitch
There is a way to play big or small in Duke Nukem. This code will work on co-op or deathmatch. To do this code in co-op you need Invincibility and items codes. Turn on friendly fire, then use the weapons code, shoot your buddy with the shrinker, or expander. Small Duke: Shoot, put on invincibility then turn it off again. The player will not grow back (the drawback: you can't have any weapons). Big Duke: Get the expander, (with God mode off) and shoot the other Duke until he starts to expand. Just before he explodes put on God mode, stop shooting, then turn off god mode. You now have a giant duke that still can be killed. (Note, you may have to try it a few times to get it right).

Invincibility
To get the invincibility code players must first enter the cheat menu code ( Press the following at the main menu to access the hidden cheat menu: LEFT, LEFT, L, L, RIGHT, RIGHT, LEFT, LEFT. Now the cheat menu will be accessible). Then simply hit R button seven times in a row and then press left on the directional pad. A sound should signify that it worked. Now go into the cheat menu and turn invincibility on.

Duke Nukem 64 Cheat Menu
Press the following at the main menu to access the hidden cheat menu: LEFT, LEFT, L, L, RIGHT, RIGHT, LEFT, LEFT. Now the cheat menu will be accessible.

Turn Items On
Perform the code to access the cheat menu (from main menu: LEFT, LEFT, L, L, RIGHT, RIGHT, LEFT, LEFT). Now at the main menu input: R, Right C, RIGHT, L, Left C, LEFT, Right C, RIGHT. This will enable all items to be toggled on or off.

DUKE NUKEM 3D (Sega Saturn)

Duke's in town. And there's nothing he hates more than an army of alien punks crowding his space. thrity-four levels of freak-smashing 3-D mayhem should see to it. Gigantic guns! Gruesome enemies! Total interaction! And all-out devastation! Don't mess with The Man!

When in the game, on the pause screen, press

God Mode
Pause the game and press

Level Select
On main options screen press

No Monsters
at the skill level screen enter
zzxxyxyx
and the new skill level should appear

Death Tank Without the Quake
All you have to do is destroy all toilets and urinals in every stage entered, and finish the game (in any difficulty level). Not an easy task, but for those that can't purchase Quake, it will unlock the game. We didn't make a point to hide any toilets or urinals beyond what was in the PC version (other than in Urea 51), but I think we may have added some for play balancing. Also note that the giant toilet at the end of Urea 51 does not need to be destroyed.

Controller Debug Mode
At the Duke Nukem 3D Main Menu screen, press and hold the X, Y, Z, L, and R buttons until "Info Mode: On" appears at the bottom of the screen. When you start a game, there will be some debugging messages at the top of the screen. The digital controls are represented by four hexadecimal characters.

Turok Style Controls
On the Sega's 3D analog pad, pause the game and press YYZZXXYXZ. Unpause the game and you'll see the message Jevons Control: On. Your controls are now more like the N64 game Turok. The analog pad will always make you look up, down, left and right. The other controls are as follows:
A: Open Door/Drink/Action
B: Backward
C: Strafe right
X: Use item
Y: Strafe left
Z: Walk Forward
L: Shoot
R: Jump
D-pad Up/Down: Select item
D-pad Left/Right: Select weapon

Do not do this code unless you have the analog controller.
