Duke Nukem Forever under production!
On Monday, April 28th, 1997, GT Interactive & 3D Realms both released press releases regarding the next all new Duke Nukem game, entitled Duke Nukem Forever. The first, from GT Interactive details the licensing of the Quake II engine from id Software for use in the game, as well as some other issues regarding Duke Nukem. The second, from 3D Realms, details reasons behind licensing the Quake II engine instead of using 3D Realms' own Prey engine. You can read the press releases here:

- Programmer - Chris comes to us from Raven Software, and will co-program the game with Nick.

- Programmer - Will Co-Program the game with Chris.
- George Broussard
- Project Manager - Also was Executive Producer of Duke Nukem 3D, and is president of 3D Realms.
- Allen Blum
- Associate Producer & Lead Level Designer
- Stephen Cole
- Level Designer - Also worked on Shadow Warrior & Duke Nukem Atomic Edition.
- Keith Schuler
- Level Desinger - Also worked on Shadow Warrior & Duke Nukem Atomic Edition.
- Mark Morgan
- Artist - Mark joins us from Raven Software, having worked on Hexen II.
- Ruben Cabrera
- Artist - Ruben joins us from IntraCorp and is a welcome member to the Duke Forever Team.
- Michael Wallin
- Artist - A new hire to 3D Realms hired on for the Duke Nukem Forever Project.
- Brian "Whaleboy" Cozzens
- Artist - A New hire to 3D Realms (from Ion Storm) hired on for the Duke Nukem Forever Project.
- Lee Jackson
- Music & Sound Director - Lee has worked on numerous projects for 3D Realms/Apogee, including Duke Nukem 3D, Shadow Warrior, & Stargunner.
