RECAP: Lucky and Liz finally came to term with Liz's blindness as Liz started to learn to do everything for herself again. Lucky then proposed to Liz at the place they shared their first kiss.

Liz came out from the dressing room with Molly behind her, the dress on Liz was a long sleeves number with slightly bared shoulders. Liz fluffed the full skirt, and waited for everyone to comment.
It had been a month since Lucky proposed to her, and they had set the wedding date on August 7th. The day they first met outside of Kelly's.
It amazed Liz every time she thought of how far they've come since that fateful meeting. After all the things Lucky and her had been through, they were more in love than ever. Having an August wedding didn't give them much time to plan, but then again, they really didn't need that much time. They didn't want an elaborate wedding anyway.
She thought about Laura and Luke's expression when Lucky told them that she had accepted his proposal. They'd been ecstatic. Only Luke and Laura. Any other parents probably would try to talk them out of getting married so young. Then again, Luke and Laura aren't just any other parents.
It took a lot of effort for them to finally contacted Liz's parents. They were shocked at first, especially since they also learned of Liz's blindness at the same time. But after the shock wore out a little, they were just happy for Liz. If they thought she shouldn't be getting married so young, they kept that opinion to themselves.
At this moment, Liz's mom and sister were both sitting on the couch in front of the dressing room helping Liz decide on her wedding dress.
Liz had an idea of the kind of wedding dress she wanted, all she needed was a few pair of eyes to help her decide on the one that looked best on her. Sarah and Molly both thought the second one Liz tried on was the perfect dress for her the moment she stepped out of the dressing room. Diana, Liz and Sarah's mom, however, wanted Liz to try on just a few more before she decided which one she thought was the best on Liz.
The second one won out after all. It was a simple dress with beautiful details around the neck line. Short sleeves, slightly off shoulders, V-shape neck line with small flowers embroidered. The full skirt with a short 3 foot train complemented the delicate lace on the back.
Liz turned around for her mom to take one last look at it before she had to go back to the dressing room.

Liz: Still look all right to you, mom?

Diana nodded her head, and went to hug her daughter.
Diana: Oh, honey....you look wonderful in that dress......actually, you look gorgeous no matter what
Liz: Thank you, mom....I'm so glad you could be here! We thought we'd never find out where you guys are!!
Diana: Oh, Lizzie, I'm glad we can be here too.....I would have hated myself if I missed your wedding!!

Liz smiled as Diana gave her a kiss on the cheek. Liz turned to walk toward the dressing room with Molly. She tripped on her skirt when she was turning, and the next thing she knew, she did a face plant on the carpet. All three women rushed to her side. All three of them asking Liz if she was all right. Liz moaned slightly, and lifted her head up.

Liz: Yeah, I'm fine.....it's a good thing we are not going with a long train on the dress.........

Liz stood up, and started toward the dressing room again. She stopped half way and started shaking. Molly turned to see her, and saw Liz's hands reached for her eyes.

Molly: What's wrong? Are you all right?

Liz turned to Molly, her voice shaky as ever.

Liz: I.....I see shadows.....I can see the movements.........Molly.....I'm starting to see you..........

Lucky's tux picking process was a little easier since Nikolas was the only one there with him. They picked out the style, and then fitted the jacket and pants. That was about it. Nikolas was to be the best man, so he went ahead and had his tux measured as well at the same time. He wasn't surprised when he heard the news of the wedding in plan. He'd always known that Lucky and Liz were going to be together forever. It was only a matter of time that Lucky proposed to Liz. Nikolas glanced over to Lucky, and found his brother with that silly grin that's constantly on his face lately.

Nikolas: If you don't stop ginning all hours of the day soon, you wouldn't need any invitations sent out. They'll know that you are getting married to the love of your life the minute they see you.

Lucky turned to look at Nikolas on the platform next to him. He couldn't erase that grin on his face. Not when he knew his life was about to be complete in just another few weeks. Elizabeth Webber was going to be his bride. He was going to get to spend the rest of his life with the love of his life. He honestly wasn't really sure if Liz was going to say "yes" to his proposal. He knew she loved him just as much as he loved her, but he also knew that Liz had wanted to stand on her own, blind or not.
And she said "yes." He had been walking on cloud nine ever since that word was out of her mouth.

Lucky: Nikolas....I never imagine it would be like this....it could be like this....I'm so happy that I don't know what to do with myself! I mean, it almost seem unreal! But it is!! Just wait till you are about to be married.....we'll see who's got the silly grin then!

Before Nikolas could say anything, a store clerk rushed over and handed the phone to Lucky.

Clerk: It's for you, Mister Spencer. It's an emergency.

Lucky put the phone to his ear, and his facial expression grew serious, with a hint of excitement. He dropped the phone and took off his jacket on his way out of the store as he yelled at Nikolas.

Lucky: Hurry up, we have to get to General Hospital. Elizabeth can see!!

*****************************************************************

Liz's vision came back as mysterious as when it was gone. After tests after tests in the hospital and talking to specialists, Liz went home, able to see, and thanking her lucky star.
The wedding plan went on without a glitch, which was another blessing. Lucky had decided to concentrate on writing music for L&B records instead of singing, and he and Liz decided to move to New York together after the wedding. Liz can start school again, and Lucky can continue his education there as well as writing music. Before the wedding, they've already picked out an apartment and the furniture together. It was at the moment they finished decorating the apartment, they looked at each other and smiled, they knew that everything they've both wanted was really going to come true.

And the day couldn't have come sooner for both of them.

The day of their wedding.

August 7th was as beautiful of a day as anyone could want their wedding day to be. Sure it was a little hot, but no one really minded. Everything was going great until the moment Lucky saw Liz walking down the isle beside her dad.
Lucky thought his breath had been sucked out of him.
That gorgeous woman walking down the isle toward him, was to be his bride. He kept remembering everything they've been through together, the tears filled his eyes. As Liz walked closer and closer to him, Lucky could see the same tears reflected in her eyes as well. They smiled at each other, as Jeff put Liz's hand in Lucky's.

To have and to hold.

Lucky wanted to kiss Liz right then and there. But he waited patiently for the minister to marry them. He almost didn't hear the minister when he asked him to say his vows for he was so full of the joyful thoughts of waking up beside Liz everyday for the rest of his life. Lucky took one of Liz's hands in his own as he started to speak, chock full of emotions.

Lucky: Elizabeth, there are no words that could possibly describe how much I love you, respect you, and how honored I am to have you stand beside me today. My heart, my soul, my life, and my sprit was not complete until I met you. Being with you makes me a better person, and I can't imagine a life without you. And as the sun, the moon, the stars, and everything in the universe, and especially the Gad as our witness, I'll love you, respect you, treasure you, and do everything I can to make you happy, for as long as I live, and beyond that.

Liz's tears were rolling down her face so fast, she had to take a deep breath before she could start saying her vows.

Liz: Lucky, as I stand here, thinking about what we've been through to get here, I once again realize how much you mean to me. And it's not just because you are sweet, and generous, and unbelievably wonderful, but mostly because you've shown my what true love is, and how love could make a a world of difference no matter what else is going on. Loving you is the most amazing thing that's ever happened to me, and it's the best thing I've ever done. And as the sun, the moon, and the stars, and everything else in the universe, and especially the Gad as our witness, I'll love you, respect you, treasure you, and do everything I can to make you happy, for as long as I live, and beyond that.

By the time Lucky and Liz each put the ring on the other's finger, their hearts were so full, their faces were so happy with tears, they didn't even wait for the minister, and just rushed into each other's arms, and shared a kiss that was long and tender. The very first kiss they shared as Mr. and Mrs. Spencer.

And then later, their first dance as husband and wife. Lucky and Liz adoringly looked into each other's eyes, and stepped onto the dance floor as the world around them ceased to exist for a moment. They could only see each other, and feel each other's warmth as the music softly playing in the background.

"Something About The Way You Look Tonight " by Elton John

There was a time
I was everything and nothing all in one
When you found me
I was feeling like a cloud across the sun
I need to tell you
How you light up every second of the day
That in the moonlight
You just shine like a beacon on the bay

And I can't explain
But there's something about the way you look tonight
Takes my breath away
It's that feeling I get about you deep inside
And I can't describe
But there's something about the way you look tonight
It takes my breath away
The way you look tonight

With that smile
You pull the deepest secrets from my heart
In all honesty
I'm speechless and I don't know where to start

And I can't explain
But there's something about the way you look tonight
Takes my breath away
It's that feeling I get about you deep inside
And I can't describe
But there's something about the way you look tonight
It takes my breath away
The way you look tonight

The way you look tonight
The way you look tonight ...............................
