Okay, so this was a fib. This page should really be titled the Lonesome Dove Un-Page. I have some fun ideas, now if I could just find the time to do the work. Please check back from time to time, I'll get busy soon.
You can tell from the opening picture that I'm a Newt Call fan. I first found Lonesome Dove: The Series after reading the book and watching the mini-series over and over. I think McMurtry is a genius. I quickly made the jump from Rick Schroeder to Scott Bairstow. Scott did a superb job. He totally embodied McMurtry's character Newt Call and grew into the Newt Call of Suzanne de Passe's vision. I find it tragic that McMurtry wasn't involved in the making of the Series.
