The "still" to to the right is an out take from "fun with ADD". Yes, it's me, looking like I'm directing in my underwear, but let me explain: I don't usually direct in my teddy and garters. For "fun with ADD", I wrote in a scene from "Extra Something...?" one of the screenplays I mention below. In the out take, I was dressed as Trudi, an aspiring actress. The camera (running on it's own) caught me directing Carl, who was playing Jake, her cab driving boyfriend. I always try out scenes from my various screenplays to see how they'd look on camera.

Here is a rundown on some of my most recent screenplays:

Hollywood Filmmaker, Director, Artist, Screenwriter, Composer, Video Editor, Starstrom Productions
"castles"

An artist running a boarding house in a small town discovers a mysterious, dead body in her studio. Who's the dead dude? Who killed him? Why was he in her studio? Who's the ghost named Melinda that looks just like her? Will there be a problem if she finds out?

visitor!

After escaping to Hollywood from a painful past, a writer/illustrator of children's books starts wondering if she might be an alien from another planet. Yeah, give me a break! Obviously she's going through an existential crisis. Or is she?

extra something...?

A movie extra and a bimbo starlet accidentally end up in each other's bodies. Another "switch" film? Not exactly. I hope you'll get a good laugh out of the antics these two, very different women go through trying to get back to "normal", or not.

wednesday of my real life (the mini series)

Based on my own everyday life as a ADD artist and screenwriter, each episode of the series illustrates all the trouble a person can get into even if she spends most of her time alone. The soundtrack below is from "Spooked!". It was my first effort at writing an entire score.

tricky ricky and the magic mother

Seven year old Ricky has a problem. He lives on a farm with only his cranky, overworked mother for company. He's lonely and unhappy. One day he finds a "talking wishing coin" which turns his mother into a little girl! A playmate at last! Through music, dance and animation, Ricky and his Magic Mother visit the past, the present and the future in search of happiness.

one-legged ballerina

Lee wanted to be a ballerina when she was a little girl. Then she wanted to be a dress designer. Then she wanted to be a psychiatrist. Then she wanted to be a rock star. Then she wanted to be a filmmaker. Yes, Lee's story is about ADD. It's funny, it's tragic and it's totally based on fact.
