Background:
The prestigious award, The Jack Kelly, was named after the daring newsy who dared to stand against the giants. Jack Kelly, in 1899 led the newsies in a strike against Joesph Pulitzer, William Randolph Hurst, and other giants of the newspaper world and was sucessful.

This is a page that gives The Jack Kelly, as an award for fanfic excellence. Submit your fanfic on any subject concerning newsies, swing kids, or any other interesting subjects (like Titanic or traveling to a set).
Outline:
Categories include best drama, best comedy, best original character, and best interpretation of a character (characters already created like Jack or Thomas). Age categories will be considered.
The stories will be read and judged by a team of university students (me and a friend :D) who will read them during horribly boring classes.
