KCR is located in the town of Keith, Banffshire.  Keith is situated on the A96, half way between Aberdeen and Inverness.

Keith has a population of around 4,500 and is famed for its Distilleries, the Keith Show (an agricultural show held in August) and for being the birthplace of Colin Hendry (Glasgow Rangers and Scotland).
