Christmas\santa.jpg(14588 bytes) Hello, Hello!!  Well it's December and time is flying faster by the day! I hope you've all been thinking about Christmas which, contrary to rumor, WILL be held in Oroville this year!  I've gotten almost all of the lists but am still missing a few. I know some are ready to do their shopping and it can be a brain racking experience so let's help each other by sending in your Christmas wish lists now!
This year the calendar is being created by Kyle and Wendy.  They have not requested any photos but will use pictures they've taken this year.  They will be collecting the standard $10 per calendar - please mail this to them ASAP out of consideration for the costs they will incur.  If you don't have their mailing address and need it, please click to email Kyle or Wendy.

As is now tradition, the adults have drawn 2 of each other's names and for the rest of the family we will do gifts as usual. Judy Schleis has the official list so if you have forgotten who you have or want to check on who else has the same people as you, please email her.  Also, each adult Dumas child is responsible for a stocking goody or goodies - anything from food to toys - to put in each person's stocking. Please take the time to wrap these if they're small - the idea is to take up space.  For the common ideas (avocados, satsumas.. etc) you may want to let others know you are doing this.

For the adult gift exchange, a $25-50 gift range has been suggested. However, it's not the cost that counts, so please don't feel obligated to spend that amount. It is the thoughtfulness of the giver and the joy of the receiver that gives value to our giving. As a sidenote - we will NOT be doing the gift swap "game" that we tried last year.

*Our cousin Aaron Dumas now lives with Corina.  He is included in the drawing and will have a stocking.
Adam.JPG (19357 bytes) *Kyle and Wendy may or may not be at our Christmas celebration depending on when little Adam is born.  I'll make updates here if/when status changes.  He will also have a stocking.  This is an ultrasound from mid-September and for those who can't read it, it's a view of his left side with his head on the right facing up.  Click on the picture for an enlargement.
