- ***1/2 Excellent story about what the principles of our country are really founded on, as well as the principles of the human spirit. Each actor does a splendid job bringing this true story to life. Larry Flynt starts Hustler Magazine and gets all kinds of opposition. As he becomes richer, the more daring he is. Then, one fateful day he is shot leaving a court room. From there on in his life, he is on a quest to show what really IS obscene in life. The movie has a wonderful last minute which captures its message beautifully. Flynt's lawyer is an excellent actor (in Primal Fear) which delivers many moving speeches with remarkable style. Truly, NOT TO BE MISSED.
