Welcome to Teen Vegetarian! It is our hope that more teens are attracted to the vegetarian cause because of this site and that current vegetarian teens receive the information (and entertainment!) that they are looking for.

Teen Vegetarian is a web page on all aspects of the vegetarian movement, written entirely by and for vegetarian teens. You can find everything from information on vegetarian bands to all the reasons that vegetarians detest McDonald's.

We are always looking for submissions, which can be e-mailed to teenvegetarian@hotmail.com. More information on what we are looking for in submissions can be found further down on this page. Also, we are definitely interested in what vegetarian teens like you would like to see on this page. If there is something that you would like to see that is not here, or if something could be improved in some way, please e-mail us!

The section contains everything that you would ever want to know about fellow vegetarian on the internet. Find some like-minded teens in the penpals section. You can also add your own name to the penpal lists. There are articles written by vegetarian teens about their experiences becoming and remaining vegetarian, and what they do to overcome the numerous obstacles put up by meat eating friends and relatives. The bands section contains reviews and articles about bands which have committed themselves to the vegetarian cause. A large number of organizations have been set up all over the world for people who want to become part of a group of people who care about vegetarianism in the same way that they do.

The section contains a large list of links to other vegetarian-related sites on the internet, all submitted by vegetarian teens. Every teen has heard of McDonald's, but not every teen enjoy's their food. The McDonald's section contains a brochure, published by a vegetarian organization, high-lighting every that McDonald's does wrong. It's the same brochure that was the cause of a multi-million dollar lawsuit in England.

The section contains quite a few recipes, all of which are clearly marked whether they are ovo-lacto, lacto or vegan. If those recipes aren't enough, there are reviews of vegetarian cook books used by vegetarian teens from all over the world. Finally, there are many animal rights pictures in this section, demonstrating exactly why so many people have chosen to become vegetarian.

Teen Vegetarian is always looking for submissions of any type. We would be happy to accept articles of any type, reviews of both restaurants and books (cooking or otherwise,) articles/reviews on vegetarian or environmentally caring bands, animal rights information, recipes, addresses of web sites, information on organizations vegetarians would be interested in, and virtually anything else that you would like to see on this page. If you have any ideas on sections that should be added to this page, we would love to hear about it. We try to publish every submission that we receive. All ideas and submissions will be fully credited and we will be happy to post both your e-mail address and web page address along with your article. Please mention the country that you live in when you submit - people like to know where the author of an item comes from! E-mail all submissions to teenvegetarian@hotmail.com.
