DANNY -- Our poster child.

After suffering a stroke at 20 months, Danny was left with a right-sided weakness and a severe seizure disorder. Recently he underwent a rare 14 hour brain operation to relieve him of the hundreds of seizures he experienced daily. The surgical procedure disconnected the healthy right hemisphere from the damaged left hemisphere.

Danny has made a remarkable recovery and his seizures have decreased dramatically. He now attends a school for "special" children, and with continued therapies, enjoys life with his family and friends.
