Filter Technique Tip



Here we have the same image, only the first one the twirl filter was set at 50 and applied 7 times. The second image shows the difference when you instead set the filter at 350 and apply once. The blend is not as soft as in the first image.

Using Filters For Object Enhancement~~Using the Blur Filter to Enhance An Object



Here a flower in the first image and a boat in the second were selected and then inverted so that a Gaussian Blur could be applied to the backgrounds to make the flower and the boat stand out more.

Using Filters For Object Enhancement~~Using the Noise Filter to Enhance An Object



Here noise was applied to enhance the image. In the first image the background was selected and noise was added at 36%. The second image is the yellow flower again, only this time noise was added at 74% to enhance the flower.
