PSP WEEK 2
This image has been compressed to a level of 60 using PSP's JPG Optimizer. I think that this image is the most suitable for a web page because while we have adequately reduced the file size from 19,574 bytes to 9,832 bytes, we have also kept the quality of the image. At a compression level of 40, you begin to have a distorted image and only around 3,000 less bytes. At a compression level of 99 the image is so distorted that it is not viewable even if the file size is optimal at 1124 bytes. There is not much difference between the level 80 compression and the level 60 compression in terms of quality, however file size is approximately 4,000 bytes less using the level 60. Therefore, I would definitely choose the level 60 compression.
This tutorial was a LOT of fun! I love the mirror image effect with an added object!
This image again is at a 60 level compression.
This is the lake image with a rectangular frame.
Here are two more images that were rectangular and now are in a round frame!
Here is my full screen capture!
This is an area capture of just some dice from my desktop, which is a shortcut to a backgammon game!
Finally here is an object capture of a drop down menu.
