OCTOBER 13, 1999
199 lbs. , that is about 43 lbs. down.  It was quite a moment when the first number became a one.  Rhonda was estatic.  It was a milestone for her.  She had longed desperately to reach a point where her goal was less than 100 lbs. away.
There is really not much more to report.  She is feeling fine, and  of course the important part to me is that she seems to be healthy.I felt the drop below 200 was important enough to report.  I am hoping to get her started on an exercise routine soon.  It is much easier said than done.  It seems there is always something standing in the way of getting started.  Hopefully as the weather turns cooler and there are less outdoor activites, we can get started.  God knows I could use it to.
That's about it for now.  Catch you later.

Lets see, whats new on the home front ?
I am reaching a point where there is little to report.   But according to the rules of the web ring I have to make an entry or my page will be taken from the ring.  I really don't want that to happen.  I don't want to sound arrogant, but I feel this page and others like it are important to those who have questions about wls.  The truth being that without the ring, my page would be almost imposible to find.
So, Rhonda is down to 195.  She is losing one to two pounds a week.  This seems like an ideal rate.  All of the experts say so anyway.Of course she would like to see it come off faster, but she is still happy with her success so far.
I ask her this morning for something to report.   She told me her taste were changing.  She no longer craves the sweets that she used to live for.  She has come to enjoy cauliflower as a snack food.   Who would have thought it ?  Hell, even Bogey, (thats the dog) likes it.  As for me, I'll stick to junk food.
Everything is not as good as I would like it.  I would be much happier if I could figure out how the hell to get some pictures on this page.  I am not your everyday computer nerd and I have to struggle with everything I try to do.  It took weeks of working every night  just to learn how to put this page together.  That is one reason you don't see a lot of fancy background or sound, the things that make other pages so attractive.  When you come to this page all you get is the basics.
"Just the facts ma'am."
I am pleased however with the way the page has turned out and with the response it has gotten.  I am also very grateful to
Journalers, for without Brittly you might not be reading this. Thanks Brittly, and thanks to everyone who reads this.  I hope somewhere in all of this you may find some piece of information, that will help you with your decision.  Maybe somewhere there is a crumb of insight for a husband or a wife that has a spouse about to undergo wls.
I have said it before, but it bears repeating.  God Bless you all, and may he help you to make the decision that is right for you.
