The Famous Mearl's Drive-In.

Running through the middle of Visalia is Mooney Blvd. Kids used to cruise mooney on the weekends until that was made illegal. I have to say Mooney is one of the ugliest streets in down. It's the "big street" of Visalia where the two malls, College Of the Sequoias, many fast food restaurants, and many small businesses are located. Mearle's Drive-in is on Mooney and was featured on a calendar showing some 50's hotrod-Route 66 type stuff. Maybe someday someone will restore it and it will lose it's greasy-spoon image. It is one of those places that never seem to change, except for the prices, and the size of the portions.
