"about Me"
My name is Jeff, and I am 34 years old and married. I enjoy writing homepages about things that interest me. I have over the last few years, written about 8 or so on various topics. Most are to show pictures I have taken of my family and vacations, my town, and my simulator I have built. My pages are not the most sophisticated pieces but I hope to get my point across.
I am a native Californian, born in Marysville CA, close to Sacramento. I have lived in Visalia since about the fourth grade and I have to say it's a good place to live. Sure, we have a few gang problems and a bit of crime, but hey! who doesn't?
In my spare time, I sell things on eBay, the online auction house. I have sold stuff all over the world. I sell wines, goofy collectibles, trains, old magazine ads for cars, junk in my attic, and even one of my old motorscooters. I collect and restore old scooters, such as Vespas. I have four at the moment and one which has a sidecar on it. Madison loves riding in it and often makes me give her rides around the neighborhood on the weekends.
I have more hobbies than time.
I also enjoy snowboarding and have been doing that for about 5 years. Nothing beats the sensation of cruising down a mountain at high speeds or floating across some fresh powder.
I am a maintenance mechanic. Basically, I fix and build many different types of machines. I have, over the years, gathered a ton of experience in the fields of: electronics, high and low voltage electrical, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, programmable logic controllers (PLC's), welding and fabrication, machining, (using metal lathes and milling machines), plumbing, troubleshooting, water treatment, and I specialize in refrigeration systems. I have a degree in Refrigeration and am licensed to handle all refrigerants.
I enjoy my job because it allows me to think and create new things. I started doing this at an old winery in this area, then worked at the now-closed Eagle Snacks plant. I currently work at Tenneco, which makes a multitude of protective packaging items.
We have a three year-old girl named Madison, who loves animals, singing, music, being silly, and is starting preschool. I have MORE pictures of Madison than anything else! She automaticallys says "cheeeeeese" when you pick up a camera. It's always amazing to see how smart she is and how she remembers things from the past. She has great association skills too. Her favorite TV shows are Cat Dog, and Blues Clues.
