Latest Changes to the Bike |
Vance & Hines SuperSport Exhaust System I just had the new exhaust system installed on the bike. Now I am riding it to make sure that there isn't any loss in the powerband or backfiring. The motorcycle tech told me that the bike may require the carbs to be rejetted if I experience any problems. So far the bike is running great and sounds wilder than ever. I recorded a little sound file so you can check it out for yourselves. Just click on the link below to listen to the bike. |

Future Plans The following images and text are things that I plan on doing with the bike in the near future. Ofcourse, a really cool paint scheme is going to be required to set everything off. Which so happens to be one of my favorite parts of the entire project since it requires Graphic Design. |
AirTECH One-Piece Race Seat For the tail section I am wanting to add the race seat shown in the very front of the image, which incorporates the left and right side pieces, the tail light frame, solo seat cowl and license plate area in one seamless piece. This allows you to attach the seat and tail section in one swoop using the stock seat locks and the two 6mm fairing screws by the foot pegs. |

AirTECH Main body section (with three louvers) For the main body section I like the looks of the unit in the very front that has three louvers. The extra louvers will also evacuate more air out of the radiator, which makes the bike run cooler. The unit I have now is more like the one pictured on the far left, except mine is in 4 pieces instead of just one. Since this fairing is a one piece unit it is supposively a breeze to install, compared to the multi-piece stock setup. I think that the three louvers just looks cool, which is enough for me to buy into it. :) |
