Alfa Romeo Market Place

Recently I received an e-mail from Italy from Mauro Comodi who has a very special Alfa Romeo for sale, a Giulietta Turbo (pre-serie). This was the starting point of a new page on the continuing story of 'La Squadra Rossonero'. This is what he wrote:

Hello!

I'm an italian AlfaRomeo fan and I've visited your website. I've attached some photos of the car on subject, that I'm trying to sell.

You know about the AR Giulietta Turbo, who was produced on early '80s : this is a prototype, assembled by Autodelta (the Alfa's racing departement), and used to test the following produced Giuliettas Turbo. Note that this car is the last tuned by Autodelta: after it this departement turned on AlfaCorse.

Below are listed some technical notes about this car:

Chassis no.: 116A1A (note that the last "A" character identifies the pre-serie);
Horsepower : 170 CV at 5000rpm;
Brakes: front brakes with double "P" racing gripper; Disc brakes fan cooled front and rear; Aeronautical tubes brake system;
Engine: The same of Alfa GTV TurboDelta
Km: 30.000 (ORIGINAL!)
Gearbox: The same of AR GTV 6 2.5

Note that a local Alfa club member has an AlfaRomeo GTV Turbodelta for sale and another one has a 1983 GTV6 2.5 also for sale (I'm attaching you another scanned photo).
